About Me

My name is Jennifer, and I'm a mom of three beautiful girls.

{I know, this pic is grainy, but for now, it'll do}.

I grew up loving the community service corps in high school, and spent plenty of time volunteering for those with special needs, which is probably what formed the basis for my schooling and career in special education.  Since having children, I never returned full time to the classroom, but still get in there as a substitute, or in a part time capacity.  Currently I am very focused on building a team of motivated consultants for Rodan+Fields Dermatologists across the country.  It's an empowering position that I work in very part time hours which is great with a young family on the go.

I'm sort of a jack-of-all-trades by now.  I taught myself to knit, sew, quilt, cook...my mentality is, if it can be made by someone else, I'm going to at least give it a try myself before buying it.  You get pretty frugal when you give up a salary with three children.

I hope that if you found this blog, it has helped you in some way.  I try to share my teacher expertise with as many families as I can, because if you don't understand the education system, it can be overwhelming to say the least.  I hope my own personal experiences, struggles, and triumphs help you in some way.

Have a great day!

{Jenn}
